The game makes heavy use of narrative. An animated hostess will teach you the basics over the course of the practice tracks. After a certain point, the character of a rival racer is introduced for you to compete against. By earning points, you can trade in your practice car for upgraded models.
Watch out for the sexy hostess
While Drift CarX Racing is rated as an all-ages game, bear in mind that the hostess is a highly sexualized character. She wears a skimpy outfit and is animated so that her breasts bounce, even when she stands still.
An oddity with mixed results
The results of Drift CarX Racing's unusual gameplay are mixed. It certainly has novelty value, although placing all control in two buttons means that the gameplay is very simple. The heavy amount of tutorial features, with translated dialogue in broken English, may also be off-putting for some. That said, this game still stands out from other racing games.
